Is Dishboard really free?▾

Yes. Every feature is free for everyone, with no plan limits and no paid tier: Insights, price history, exports, unlimited menu items and ingredients. We built Dishboard because we needed it ourselves, and wanted small food businesses to have something better than a broken spreadsheet.

Do I need a credit card?▾

No. There is no card required and no subscription. Just sign up and start costing your menu.

Will it stay free?▾

Nothing about how Dishboard is built needs it to stop being free. It is made by a very small team, and it runs on infrastructure that costs a small fixed amount each month whether ten kitchens use it or a thousand. There are no investors waiting on a return and no sales team to fund, so there is no countdown running behind this answer.

Do you sell or share my data?▾

No. Your ingredient costs, recipes, and margins are yours. We don't sell them to suppliers, delivery platforms, or anyone else, and there are no ads anywhere in Dishboard.

What happens to my data if I stop using Dishboard?▾

CSV and Costing Sheet export mean your ingredients, recipes, and cost data are never locked in. Export anytime.
